Townsend Property Investments Limited  is recruiting to fill the position below : 

POSITION : Account Officer

Responsibilities

• The job holder will be responsible for controlling and executing all matters relating to the administrative and accounting functions.
• Responsible and accountable for all administrative and accounting procedures, budgeting, cash flow, internal controls, monitoring and preservation of the company assets.
• Perform/review bank account reconciliations and assist with corporate balance sheet reconciliations and other corporate monthly internal management reports.
• Track all company’s assets and liabilities; maintaining files on all the properties of the company.
• Calculate and invoice general contracting fees and allocate payroll to projects.
• Responsible for Construction accounts receivable tracking, management, and reporting.
• Ensure appropriate procedures for financial reporting, record keeping and documentation which maintains files in an orderly, accurate and current manner.
• Ensure company’s compliance with all governmental laws, policies and regulations especially with regards to statutory deductions and remittances.
• Maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders.
• Interface with Project Managers and senior management on all aspects of construction accounting
• Assist with processing payroll for site workers when necessary.
• Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by management.

Requirements 

• Any candidate who possesses a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent (minimum of second class lower) in Finance or Accounting from a reputable University.
• ATS certified or ACCA/ACA in view;
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in various aspects of accounting;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Applicants must be self motivated with ability to deliver in a timely and quality manner.
• Applicants should not be more than 30 years old.
