Senior Cook Needed at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture

The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) - works with partners to enhance crop quality and productivity, reduce producer and consumer risks, and generate wealth from agriculture. IITA is a non-profit organization founded in 1967 in Nigeria and governed by a Board of Trustees. IITA works on the following crops: cowpea, soybean, banana/plantain, yam, cassava, and maize.

POSITION : Senior Cook

Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:

  • Assist in compiling varieties of menu;
  • Assist in maintaining the best of food safety and hygiene standard;
  • Ensure customers satisfaction and business plan;
  • Ensure high customer oriented, computer literate and ready to work long hours and during holidays;
  • Perform any other function as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualification

  • OND in Hotel and Catering with minimum of Five (5) years’ experience performing similar role. Catering or hospitality background will be an added advantage.

  • Have pleasant personality and be clean, smart and honest.
