The University of Africa, Toru-Orua, Bayelsa State, hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates, to fill the below academic staff vacant position:

POSITION : Lecturer/Research Fellow (Grade I & II): CONUASS 4 & 3

Department: School of Foundation Studies

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess a minimum of four (4) years of teaching and research experience.
  • Candidates must have publications in reputable journals.
  • Bayelsa State Civil Servants who are interested to teach in the University of Africa can also apply.
  • Candidates must possess at least Master Degree in the following subject areas:
    • English/Business Communication
    • Christian Religious Knowledge
    • Law - English Legal System
    • Computer Science
    • Technical Drawing
    • Agricultural Science Mathematics
    • Mathematics/Statistics
    • Biology
    • Accounting
    • Geography
    • Political Science
    • Business Studies
    • Health Science
    • Physics
    • Chemistry
    • Economics

 

POSITION : Laboratory Assistant

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess at least SSCE/NECO and show proof of working as a Laboratory Assistant in a University/College of Education/Polytechnic for at least 3 years.

 

POSITION : Laboratory Attendant

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess at least SSCE/NECO and show proof of working as a Laboratory Attendant in a University/College of Education/Polytechnic for at least 3 years.

 

POSITION : ICT Technician 

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess at least SSCE/NECO and show proof of working as a Computer Technician in a University/College of Education/Polytechnic for at least 3 years.
