POSITION : Chief Geologist
Description
- An indigenous coal exploration company is seeking experienced professionals to employ as Chief Geologists.
Responsibilities
- The primary role of the Chief Geologist is to technically lead and oversee all aspects of exploration and development programs within the region.
- Assist the exploration projects teams resulting in discovery of economically viable deposits that will have a significant impact on the Company's earnings and growth.
Key Role Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor of Science (Geology), advanced degree preferred
- Continued professional development and technical training.
Skills & Experience :
- Possess excellent experience in reconnaissance survey.
- Must be experienced in coal stratigraphy and geology,
- Must be good at data acquisition and mapping
- Possess good Understanding and recognition of mineralization models and geological processes
- Must be COMEG registered.
- Excellent knowledge of operating and managing drill rig.
- Understanding of economic parameters of mining operations
