POSITION : Business Development Officer
Responsibilities
We are looking for an IT savvy, pleasant and competitive Business Development Officer that thrives in developing sales strategies to attract new clientele.
The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
You must be comfortable making dozens of product/services presentations, generating interest and qualifying sales prospects.
“Get the sale” using various sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations etc)
Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
Evaluate customers’ needs and build productive long lasting relationships
Meet personal and team sales targets
Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
Attend meeting, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
Identify interest and understand customer needs and requirements
Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
Demonstrate and provide information on promoted products/services
Requirements
2 years of sales experience
Track record of over-achieving quota
Experience working with a CRM
Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
Computer use competency
Has keen interest in Technology and its associated products and services
IT Savvy
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and driven
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Not Older than 28 years by 31st December, 2016
