POSITION : Senior RF Planning and Optimization Engineer
Descriptions
Traffic simulations, link budget planning, CPICH power, dimensioning, capacity planning and capacity expansion plan based on traffic forecast for short term and long term.
Setting the specific RF parameters for the site to be integrated: RNC id, BTS id, MCC, MNC, LAC, RAC, SAC, CID, UARFCN frequency, scrambling code, T cell, neighbor
Requirements
- Knowledge in 2G Frequency planning including nominal cell planning, MAIO planning, Scrambling Code planning in 3G, Neighbor Planning
- Good Knowledge in Capacity planning in terms of license
- Experience in Network Forecast Planning in existing network in terms of Radio, TX & Core
- Knowledge in Power settings & Antenna configurations on 2G,3G & 4G Sites New site planning & analysis based on Site survey .
- Knowledge of RF design fundamentals, RF propagation behaviour and Model Tuning.
- Knowledge of 2G/ 3G/4G radio network audit process which includes configuration audits, parameters audit
- Experience in L3 analyzing.
- Knowledge on post processing and analysis tool (Planet, Atoll, TEMS, NEMO, Actix or equivalent).
- Knowledge in routine review of radio network Key Performance Indicators (KPI) such as CS/ PS drop call, CE Utilization/ Blocking, Code utilization, Handover, RAB setup success rate and call setup success rate, data throughput and QoS etc.
- Knowledge on process definition, high level design and low level design doc preparation.
Qualifications
- B.SC or equivalent in Engineering.
- Good communication skills and attitude for knowledge sharing.
- Team Leadership, Planning and organization skills
- Reliable and efficient targeting for good quality.
- Analytical approach and problem solving skills.
- Should be familiar with Ericsson/Huawei OSS tools, reporting solution, counters & parameters and Feature implementation for 2G/3G/4G networks.
