Work together as a team to maintain our in-house application.
Responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.
Focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
Responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application.
Responsible for integrating business intelligence analytics in the backend e.g graphs, pie-chart, histogram etc
Basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
Requirements
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Detailed knowledge of software design and best practices (including advanced software security techniques).
Knowledge of system and database management concepts.
Provides expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business.
Participates at all levels in systems analysis, design definition, software development, systems test, implementation, and maintenance.
Hands-on experience with software automation (e.g. unit testing, continuous integration).
Supervise subordinate programming staff.
Expert in one or more programming languages such as J2EE, WebSphere, Oracle, SQL
Knowledge of NATIVE mobile app development would be a good advantage.
Knowledge of PHP web frameworks {such as CakePHP, Laravel, Codeigniter, etc depending on your technology stack}
Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
Understanding of MVC design patterns
Understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
Understanding accessibility and security compliance {Depending on the specific project}
Kowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
