OES Energy Services Limited (OESL) - A joint venture partnership company providing drilling rig services 

POSITION : Manager - Accounting & Admin 

DESCRIPTION

Responsible for overall supervision of district office accounting and administration functions.

Accountabilities

  • Supervises Materials Department staff, ensures compliance with guidelines for purchasing procedures and personnel activities regarding work visas, etc.; coordinates renewal of legal documents relating to the Company’s local trade/commercial license(s) with local municipality, business registration with the Department of Commerce, Chamber of Commerce certificates, etc. and maintains communications with the recognized local banking facility and verify monthly bank reconciliation
  • Ensures full compliance with Company Financial policies and procedures; safeguards company assets through management and accounting of fixed assets and inventory controls and ensures proper controls are kept as recognized by international GAAP, local accounting and tax regulations.
  • Supervises accounting staff, ensures timely payment to vendors, weekly reporting to rig manager on purchase order reports and corresponding monthly/quarterly/annual closings; timely reporting of variance analysis In support of monthly OPSTATS, weekly cash forecast reports, wire transfer requests, etc. to unit and HQ office.
