POSITION : General Manager
Description
- Ensure products we buy from major distributors are original products and of good quality/condition.
- Has the responsibility to negotiate buying prices to help us control price.
- Compute a list of vendors who rent trucks so that we can have a couple of options of truck hiring companies to deal with in timely manner.
- Manage, direct, coordinate and engage staff activities to ensure they are productive towards corporate growth.
- Ensure L.P.O’s are attended to in a timely and orderly manner.
- Secure partnership with diesel tank farms. This will help us secure storage facilities to store diesel products when we buy in bulk.
- Compute a list of wholesale/bulk diesel supply companies (NNPC, CONOIL etc.) to help us buy at cheaper prices and control price.
- Oversee and monitor each quantity supplied to companies to ensure the supply meters are accurate and ensure the meters are working effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum of HND educational qualification.
- 5 years managerial experience in the oil and gas industry
- Communication and writing skills
- Operational and sales skills
