POSITION : Quality Specialist
The Quality Specialists will:
Support implementation of recommendations
Optimise availability of measuring equipment and test samples
Identify problems or potential problems and facilitate problem solving and decision making
Contribute to team and self development
Communicate process and product quality information
Provide leadership to ensure commitment to product quality
Apply the quality system in the workplace
Assess technical requirements
Communicate effectively in the workplace
The occupants of these positions should possess:
Bachelor of Science in Food Technology, Microbiology or equivalents
2 - 3 years’ Experience as a Microbiology Laboratory Technician
IBD Diploma will be an added advantage
Key Competencies :
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to gain the confidence and cooperation of the workforce
Technical and IT skills for using specialist equipment
Ability to act with Integrity
Problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
Ability to use analytical and methodical approaches to solving problems.
