SABMiller Plc is recruiting to fill the position below:
POSITION : Automation Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and calibrate field instrumentation and measuring devices
- Identify problems or potential problems , Facilitate Problem Solving and support line team
- Manage Human Resources by developing employees, managing and applying people practices
- Optimise Team Performance
- Manage Occupational Health, Safety, Risk And Environment
- Optimise PLC and SCADA hardware and software standards for site
- Apply Focused improvement processes to deliver improved performance within the brewery site
- Model The Manufacturing Way Principles and Practices, and Lead The Change Process
The occupant of this position should possess:
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical/Instrumentation or Control System Engineering
- 3-4 years’ experience as a Maintenance Controller or 2 years as a software Engineer
- Qualified Electrical Engineer
- 2 years’ experience with SCADA system maintenance
Competencies :
- Knowledge of Asset management
- Proven leadership skills
- Analytical problem solver
- Ability to act with integrity
- Advanced knowledge of SIEMENS PLC’s
- Advanced SIMATIC Training
- Knowledge of Manufacturing way strategies and initiatives
- Familiarity with maintenance systems ( eg. COSWIN )
