POSITION : Head Driver
Description
The Head Driver is to provide support in the management of the official vehicles and drivers of the Company, with specific responsibilities for supervising and directing all other drivers, as well as coordinating the activities of both vehicles and drivers.
Responsibilities
- Maintains records of servicing, repairs and document renewal due dates for all vehicles.
- Schedules vehicles for servicing and repairs when due.
- Ensure all vacancies are filled with the suitable candidates within the targeted time.
- Liaise with approved recruitment agencies for supply of manpower.
- Addresses questions and resolves conflict among drivers.
- Maintain an organized and active databank of applicants for various positions.
- Performs daily inspection of all vehicles to ensure cleanliness, functionality and safety. Reports any anomalies to Admin Assistant in charge.
- Maintains regular and punctual attendance for drivers, and reports acts of non-compliance to the Admin Assistant.
- Coordinates the assignment of pool vehicles based on requests received, and ensures effective management of available vehicles.
- Act as a point of contact for HR queries from staff and managers, dealing with issues where able or referring onto HR Manager if necessary.
