JOB TITLE: CARPOOL DISPATCHER
JOB LOCATION: ABUJA

JOB DESCRIPTION
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent humanitarian organization. The ICRC Abuja Delegation is looking for a qualified candidate with the capacity to work independently to fill in the position below:
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Secondary education
• 4 years work experience in similar function
• Heavy vehicle Driving license
• Driving license for at least 5 years
• Succeeded in ICRC Driving test
• Excellent knowledge of the geographically assigned environment
• Masters 4/4 and VHF use.
  
• Basic mechanical skill

 
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:

• Organizes and plans the drivers’ duties
• Monitors and updates car use and fuel consumption
• Keeps tracks on all vehicle movements
• Help to organization and planning of maintenance of fleet
• Applies ICRC rules in term of use and security of vehicles
• Organises private use of car attribution

 
PERSONAL SKILLS

• Strongly motivated by humanitarian work
• Flexibility and willingness to work irregular schedules
• Reliable and calm person
