The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) a non-profit organization founded in 1967 in Nigeria and governed by a Board of Trustees. IITA works on the following crops: cowpea, soybean, banana/plantain, yam, cassava, and maize.

POSITION : Painter II

Responsibilities 

  • Preparing, priming and painting building walls;
  • Taping, flushing, repair and apply finishing skills on walls;
  • Maintenance of all painting equipment’s;
  • Handle sign-writing works;
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification

  • OND, Trade Test II /Artisan certificate in Civil Engineering or related fields plus at least two (2) years relevant experience.

Competencies:

  • Must have knowledge of painting and decoration.
