A reputable Construction Company and an Oil and Gas Company seek to engage experienced professionals for the following position:
JOB TITLE: SITE/PROJECT ENGINEERS
JOB REFERENCE: SPE 01
JOB LOCATION: LAGOS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The person will be responsible for the site supervision and management of assigned resources to ensure effective and timely delivery of project work in accordance with specifications and quality in a cost effective and timely manner.
- Develop an Optimal program for the Project works.
- Understand importance of Project Management.
- Monitor Progress of each project from Initiation to close-out.
- Assist in preparing scope of services and Material List for any project works
- Understand Requirements for Cost Estimate preparation.
- Establish suitable Quality Assurance and Quality Control Procedures for the works.
- Monitor and Implement Change Order Control, where required.
- Assist in developing Cost Control System- Budget Control, Payment and Invoicing.
- Must be a strong adherent to Safety, Health and Environmental issues. Candidate should be mature, astute and businesslike with excellent supervisory skills and attention to details.
REQUIREMENTS:
- First Degree from accredited Institution of Higher Learning/University B.Sc, B.Eng, HND in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of six (6) years demonstrable practical experience on road works construction, Bridges, general civil works installations.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite — Excel, Words, Corel draw, Power Point, AutoCAD,
- Professional Membership and Registration with C.O.R.E.N compulsory.
