POSITION : Senior Software Engineer - Avaya IVR Developer
Requirements
- 5 years professional software development experience with demonstrated strength in Java technologies.
- Relevant internet technologies, e.g.: HTTP, HTML, XML, JavaScript, VXML etc.
- Web Services, e.g.: RESTful and/or SOAP
- Avaya Experience Portal or Avaya Dialog Designer development environments.
- Server side Java technologies, e.g.: Java, J2EE, Servlets, JSPs, tag libraries, JMS
- Frameworks and libraries, e.g.: JUnit, Struts, Spring, JDBC
- Application Servers, e.g.: Tomcat, WebSphere
- Experience in Object Oriented design and programming.
- Understanding of software architectures.
- Avaya Experience Portal (or Voice Portal) administration and configuration
- Relational databases, e.g.: Oracle, SQL Server
- Experience with telephony systems integration, IVR or CTI.
- Development on other IVR platforms.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, architecture, development, and testing of solutions.
- Adhere to methodologies for change control, release and validation.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance for other engineers as appropriate.
- Provide application support for existing software tools and products.
- Employ the appropriate use of design patterns.
