POSITION : Accountant

Qualifications

  • A degree from a reputable institution in finance and/or accounting,
  • ICAN (ACA and or AAT) or its equivalent will be an added advantage
  • 4 years working experience in a manufacturing environment,
  • Track record in project management and service administration
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 accounting software package will be an added advantage,
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • An analytical person, with deep understanding of accounting and costing principles.
  • Experience in Business Development will be a great advantage, and
  • Excellent communication skills are minimum requirement.
  • Age of the candidate is likely to be between 30 and 38 years; however, any person outside this range with strong credentials and experience could be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining an appropriate financial management framework to support the corporate objectives of the organisation.
  • The Accountant will report directly to the Managing Director.
  • Development of financial models for ensuring the attainment of corporate goals and objectives,
  • Oversee and manage the finance and accounting functions,
  • Ensure compliance with Regulatory Requirements.
