JOB DESCRIPTION
- Supervise drilling operations on the rig
- Lead and organize workforce to achieve set goals
- Coordinate the activities of a multitude of contractors and equipment in a complex drilling environment
- Analyze and solve complex well drilling and completions problems
- Required Qualifications: – Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Engineering or Sciences with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division or Lower Credit respectively
SKILLS:
- Demonstrable leadership abilities including, but not limited to, effective communication, interpersonal and
organization skills.
- Ability to coordinate the activities of a multitude of contractors and equipment in a complex drilling environment
- Ability to analyze and solve complex well drilling and completions problems
- Good understanding of community and logistics issues related to drilling in the Nigerian environment
- Experience Minimum of Ten (10) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in any combinations of thef ollowing areas: Assistant Driller, Driller, Tool Pusher or Drilling Supervisor in an oil well drilling organization
