The Kaduna State Local Government Service Commission hereby calls for applications from qualified candidates to fill the vacant position below in the Unified Local Government Service of Kaduna State:

Job Title: Principal Cultural Officer - GL.12 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Devising and interpreting research materials
  • Coordinating the productive activities of a number of cultural officers
  • Giving professional advice to artistic, Craftsmen and Cultural Groups
  • Planning and execution of workshops and seminars on visual arts
  • Performing such other related duties as may be assigned
  • Supervising artists during performances

Qualifications

  • B.A in Fine Arts/Music/Theatre/ English Literature/Linguistic/ Journalism

Important Notice

  • Candidates must possess NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Certificate of Exclusion where applicable.
  • Membership of Professional bodies would be an additional advantage.
  • Candidates who are awaiting result will not be considered and need not to apply.

Remuneration
Salaries, allowances and other conditions of service would be as approved by the Kaduna State Government.
