We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:

Job Title: Information Technology Intern

Location: Borno

Main Purpose of Job

The IT Intern will be primarily responsible with assisting and facilitating IT activities in IRC Nigeria Office
The IT Intern is reporting to the IT Officer and will work closely with IT Manager and all program sectors to ensure proper IT functioning and support.

Main Duties

Level I Help Desk Support - Including but not limited to assistance with password resets, account creations, desktop and laptop builds and printer support
Level II Help Desk Support - Including but not limited to anti-virus assistance, Windows 7 support, Microsoft Office 2013 support, general laptop, desktop and printer repair, and light network troubleshooting
Enterprise Ticket Management - Work inside our enterprise ticketing system, Service-Now, to provide timely and transparent customer support of all requests
Hardware Inventory - This position will work our Global Supply Chain department in imaging, distributing and tracking all hardware; also tracking and installing all purchased software

Ensuring the non disclosure of any information whatsoever relating to the practices and business of IRC acquired in the course of duty, to any other person or organization without authority, except in the normal execution of duty.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

College Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical work experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
Strong written and interpersonal skills; customer service experience
Able to work independently within a team environment
