Curzon and Jones is an Integrated consulting agency based in Nigeria—specializing in the travel, hospitality and tech Industry.

We are currently looking to hire a young & vibrant Graphics Designer, who is passionate about creating beautiful and effective solutions to engage clients. A person who knows how to get things done, and done well. The selected candidate must be both imaginative and pragmatic. He/She must have an inventor's spirit, a beautifully-tuned eye, demonstrated proficiency in brand design, and proven experience moving projects from concept to successful execution.

Job Description

• Design themes, Layouts, contents and covers of documents.

• Develop web interface and design for C&J website in collaboration with content writing team.

• Development and design maps, graphics, templates and tables, c) Modify graphics, figures and maps.

• Development of figures, including colours, fonts, graphics and layout, and resulting materials such as Newsletters, brochures, reports, banners, posters, fliers and booklets.

• Creation of graphic templates to be used for reports and presentations.

• Creation of brochures, business cards, information folders, publications, and other similar promotional materials related to the work of the WCO.

• Update and revision of existing publications, materials and graphics.

• Preparation of printing packages (all layout and design files) for printing of publications and other communication products (banners, posters, booklets, leaflets, books, calendars, bulletins, flyers, cards)

• Design templates for new publications and products in line with graphic guidelines and in close cooperation with responsible officers.

• Deliver creative and innovative ideas for print, web and interactive presentations. This will require the graphic designer to provide technical solutions for use of new media (virtual 3D words/boxes, postcards).

• Maintain templates (In-design, CorelDraw, Canva, Publisher Word, PowerPoint etc) and give technical support.

Key skills for graphic designers

• Dexterity with various creative suites to get the job done e.g Adobe, Canva, Corel, Maya and so on

• Computer skills: Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and knowledge of graphic design fundamentals; Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite

• Exceptional creativity and innovation

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to design for print and digital media is required.

• You must have a strong design software skills (Adobe Creative Suite) and mastery of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Photoshop

• You must be able to create animations and other motion graphics.

• A portfolio with a breadth of work exhibiting strong aesthetic and design skills

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of brand and visual design

• Strong layout and typographic skills

• Great communication skills, good hand skills

• Work on multiple projects with varying deadlines

• Ability to think spatially, understanding how a brand is consistently expressed and maintained in a physical environment, over time.

• Highly collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment

Experience and Educational

Requirement:

• Proven graphic designing experience as a graphic designer

• B.Sc/HND in an IT related field preferred.

• Maximum age of 28
