POSITION : Network and System Administrator

Required Skills & Qualifications (you will have to justify every line here)

  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Computer Networks, or related technical discipline Experience in linux administration, network design and monitoring, VoIP or Asterisk management
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in system and network management in a professional environment
  • Proven ability to work independently on important projects
  • French understanding would be a plus

Preferred Skills and Qualities:

  • Experience in database administration and data mining
  • Ability to develop and support teams with data analytics (designing dashboards, reporting, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a team and willing to do some team management
  • Strategic thought process and strong decision-making capabilities based on data analytics
  • Creative and versatile approach to problem-solving; solution-oriented
  • Proven, strong communication skills and ability to work cross-culturally
  • Administration experience with Linux/CentOS
  • Professional experience on Asterisk
  • Proficiency with PRTG, Nagios, Wireshark...
  • Experience in mobile networks: 3G, GSM, USSD
  • Experience in computer asset management
  • A strong sense of humor and an open mind

Responsibilities 

  • Staff Support and Customer Service (Help Desk)
  • Network Maintenance and Information Technology (IT)
  • Assistance and recommendations follow-up for Headquarters IT Manager
  • Remote work with Headquarters IT department
  • Preventive maintenance and optimization of servers, computers and devices
  • Solve problems quickly and communicate with related teams as needed
