StreSERT Services Limited - Our client, a group of companies, presently needs a Dock Manager for its Fisheries and Aquaculture subsidiary. The ideal candidate for this role must have ‘hands on’ operational experience in this position especially in floating dry docks.

Job Title:  Dock Manager needed in Lagos urgently

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

•     Must be proficient in marine dock work
•     Must be capable of handling mechanical, electrical and hydraulic machineries
•     Thorough knowledge of repair, maintenance, and servicing of generators
•     Maintenance/repair works of floating docks operation and supervising of dock staff
•     Maintenance of floating dock pump system and other machineries
•     Must be responsible for daily operation of marine dock, ensuring that all docks are well maintained and in safe condition
•     Supervises and coordinates the activities of workers engaged in dry dock, painting, clearing, and repair of vessels
•     Oversees flooding operations and removal of vessels from dry dock
•     Direct workers in plumbing operations to raise vessel
•     Perform other duties as described under dock manager’s title
•     Repairs and maintenance of pumps and motors
•     Must have general knowledge of electrical mechanical system

Qualification
B.Sc/HND Mechanical or Ship Building Engineering with at least 5 years experience
