POSITION : Plant Workshop Manager

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all plants and equipment operations at our sites
  • Oversee the mechanical and electrical section of the sites
  • Responsible for tracking on-time deliveries and ensuring client quality specifications are being adhered to
  • Ensure proper follow-up of the preventive maintenance plans of all company equipment.
  • Ensure availability of all company's equipment at all times through the repairs and maintenance of the equipment.
  • Daily planning and managing of workshop activities.
  • Ensure the company's regulations on

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree minimum, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 7-10 years of related industry experience required
  • Affiliation profession bodies eg COREN would be an added advantage
  • Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, MS Office, Explorer, and Adobe Acrobat)
  • Health and safety at work are strictly adhered to.
  • Must have good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Ability to empower and motivate staff

POSITION : Asphalt Plant Supervisor  

Requirements/Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree minimum, preferably in a Mechanical Engineering discipline or related field.
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 7 - 10 years’ experience in concrete batching experience in concrete ready mix.
  • Must be COREN registered.
  • Vast in all aspects of concrete batching technology, equipment, methods and safety is required.
  • Working computer knowledge; including applicable Microsoft software.
  • Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Oversee all plant operations; coordinate and monitor daily work load throughout the plant; monitor plant cleanliness.
  • Oversee all electromechanical maintenance and mobilizing of the mobile concrete batch plant.
  • Ensure that all products meet 100% total quality requirements; take samples and test as necessary; ensure all equipment is working properly; complete all required reports timely and accurately; inform proper personnel of any quality problems that need resolving.
  • Maintain adequate levels of all supplies and products.
  • Maintain accurate and current reports as required.
  • Ensure that all company safety regulations and policies are followed at ALL times.
  • Ensure that all company environmental regulations and policies are followed.

POSITION : Asphalt Plant Mechanic

Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance and repairs of machines to avoid breakdown
  • Carry out maintenance/repairs of auxiliary equipment for the running of the machines
  • Inspect power plant equipment and indicators to detect evidences of operating problems
  • To carry out efficient breakdown troubleshooting/fault finding of machines and equipment
  • To carry out the documentation of maintenance parameters for plant improvement

Requirements

  • A minimum of an OND or Trade Test I in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years experience:
  • Must be able to work with a team.
  • Proven ability to work on Diesel engines

The person must:

  • Be energetic.
  • Be able to troubleshoot mechanical faults on machines and equipment
  • Have ability to use mechanical tools and instruments
  • Have analytical and organizing skills
  • Be safety conscious and pay attention to details
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills

 

POSITION : Crusher Plant Supervisor

Requirements/Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum, preferably in a Mechanical Engineering discipline or related field
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 7 - 10 years’ relevant experience.
  • Must be COREN registered.
  • Working computer knowledge; including applicable Microsoft software.
  • Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Oversee all plant operations; coordinate and monitor daily work load throughout the plant; monitor plant cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Proven ability to diagnostic tools to diagnose electrical problems on automobiles & equipment’s
  • Testing of equipment repaired with a view to ascertaining the repaired status.
  • Ensure the Company’s regulations on Health and Safety at are strictly adhered to.
  • Ensure regular cleaning and orderliness of the workshop.

Requirements

  • 3 years cognate experience
  • A minimum of an SSCE or Trade Test I in Mechanical Engineering with verifiable practical experience
  • Must be able to work with a team.

The Person Must:

  • Be energetic.
  • Be able to troubleshoot electrical faults on machines and equipment
  • Have ability to use electrical tools and instruments
  • Have analytical and organizing skills
  • Be safety conscious and pay attention to details
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills
