RS Hunter Limited is recruiting to fill the following vacant positions:
Job Title: Dispatch Officer
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities:
- The DDOs role is to provide excellent service and support to Clients as per the Company Mission Statement.
- To achieve the objectives of the role, the Dispatch officer assistant will be expected to
- Understand and comply with the requirements published in the Standard Operating Procedures;
- Dispatch Coordination and Client Safety
- To lead and champion the delivery of excellent dispatch coordination practices;
- To direct dispatch coordination planning and identify skill gaps for personnel;
- Escort passengers to and from aircraft when embarking or disembarking aircraft;
- Carry baggage to and from aircraft when loading or unloading aircraft;
- Supervise and marshal safe arrival of aircraft on to apron parking using approved marshaling signals;
- Conduct aircraft marshaling in a safe and efficient manner as laid down in the operations manual;
- To proactively communicate all relevant safety and operational procedures to all third parties and in-house managers;
- To ensure client requests are professionally handled in an efficient and prompt manner;
- Present the Captain with Flight Crew Briefing packages as required;
- Ensure all visitors to the hanger, apron and airside are properly identified;
Requirements:
- B.Sc/HND in any related field
- 7-8 years experience
- Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) Dispatch License
- Flight Dispatcher’s Course Certificate (Advance)
