Our Client - Hobark International (UK) Limited is seeking to recruit qualified candidates for  the below position:

Job Title: Safety Officer

Job Responsibilities

  •     Give advice to construction site personnel in order to reduce the risks in the workplace.
  •     Provide HSE training to fabrication staff and subcontractors.
  •     Carry out worksite inspections and approve work permits.
  •     Ensure that all personnel follow safety rules and regulations.
  •     Carry out and facilitate incident investigations.


Qualifications

  •     Bachelors degree in safety and occupational health, NEBOSH certificate would be an added advantage.
  •     Good coaching and training skills.
  •     Good negotiating, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  •     Minimum 3 years  experience in a health and safety environment, preferably in the oil and gas or heavy construction industry.
  •     Good command of English both verbal and written.
