Job Title: Offshore Installation Manager

Job Responsibilities

  •     The OIM is responsible for managing the offshore operations on the platform or vessel, including the health, safety and welfare of all personnel onboard.
  •     Ensures full compliance with all mandatory procedures and regulations that relate to production operations
  •     Oversees daily production/platform operation activities
  •     Manages emergencies
  •     Organises, supervises and delegates the activities of the personnel, so as to ensure the preventative maintenance, housekeeping and repairs are performed in a timely manner
  •     Promotes and maintains a safe environment for all personnel, ensuring on-going development and training of employees and equipment is maintained to a high standard


1.) Development & Construction Phase

  •     Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) at vendors facilities as required, ensure that complete documentation and reporting of testing activities and parameters are available including punch items.
  •     Review and commenting of the commissioning procedures, including interfaces.
  •     Participate in final commissioning and testing of DTU and interfaces before handover to Operation.
  •     Prepare Start up program and ensure coordination with Start up program for FPSO.
  •     Participate in Start up reviews.
  •     Participate as Operations representative in the detailed design phase, including design review, adding constructive and relevant operational experience to the project.
  •     Ensure that personnel safety and process safety is sufficiently included in the design and fulfilling the ALARP principles.
  •     Ensure that design includes for an environmental sound and energy efficient operation fulfilling the requirements for low discharge and emissions.
  •     Participate in relevant reviews such as HAZOP, HAZID, ALARP and QRA updates.
  •     Participate in supervision of construction, testing and commissioning work at the construction site as part of the site team.
  •     Ensure that proper punch list is being developed including required documentation, participate in punch meetings as required.
  •     Participate in preparation of Operational and Safety procedures before start up and ensure that these are aligned with Standards and where applicable bridges into FPSO Procedures.
  •     Participate in preparation of Maintenance and Integrity Program and ensure that they fullfill there purpose for a high uptime and a high integrity standard in line with Standards.


2.) Operational Phase

  •     Continuously monitor safety performance and standard on-board.
  •     Monitor well interventions and drilling operations.
  •     Continuously monitor maintenance performance, back log, use of spares, stock of spares, general condition and integrity of equipment.
  •     Responsible for Permit to Work system
  •     Daily communication with Company representative on-board FPSO to discuss safety, operation in general, coming well operations and any issues of concern.
  •     Monitor uptime and production efficiency
  •     Ensure that safety is always is of priority and in line with Incident Free


Qualifications

  •     Engineering degree
  •     5-8 years of experience from DTU/TLP operation or similar from fixed installations, preferably worked as OIM.
