Job Title: Senior Underwater Maintenance Engineer
Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure full offshore facilities technical integrity compliance
- Ensure full offshore facilities Statutory Requirements compliance
- Ensue Zero export loss opportunity due to marine failure
- Ensures compliance with statutory and company inspection and maintenance programmes to safeguard the technical integrity of the offshore facilities
- Implements, coordinates and supervises the 5-yearly structural inspection, maintenance and repair plans of the offshore facilities
- Best practice implementation resulting in best class marine and export facilities availability, reliability, and compliance with export targets
- Timely deployment of latest technologies to support facility integrity and performance
- Ensures all planned and unplanned maintenance activities are carried out accordingly to laid down standards
- Responds effectively to all Marine related emergencies ensuring minimum impact on People, Environment, Reputation and Assets
- Ensures all Marine incidents are reported, investigated and remedial actions implemented.
- Work in liaison with team leader for monitoring activity and budget performance in marine activities
- Ensure ISO 14001 & OHSAS requirements are complied with in marine maintenance activities
- Plan and monitor activities and budget performance for optimisation
- Develops and implements strategies necessary to safeguard the technical integrity of offshore SPDC marine structures and exporting system
- Plan and monitor marine maintenance activities with SAP
- Plan and monitor activities for optimum budget performance
- Coordinates and supervises the activities of the structural and underwater services team members
- Implement team CASHES plan
Requirements
Experience
Skill
- Technical graduate with 3 -5 years in maintenance of offshore facilities
- Proven ability to manage issues, liaison, third party relationships and lead multidiscipline team
- Skill of maintenance standards and statutory requirements
- Strong powers of analysis, planning, problem solving and decision making skills
- Interpersonal and relationship skill
- Coaching and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication skills at level of the organisation
