Green Space Farms (GSF) was launched in 2016. We launched with venture capital funding and supervision. Put simply, our core objective is to practice Sustainable farming which makes us a good custodian of the Land and God’s given natural resources.

 

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Senior Agronomist

 

Qualifications

  • B.Sc / M.Sc in Agronomy/Soil Science
  • 5-7 years relevant experience from Agric input (Fertilizers, Seeds, Agrochemicals), best crop production technologies, etc.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Crop budgeting & planning
  • Pre / Post planting & harvesting activities
  • Regular field checks
  • Insect, weed & disease monitoring / diagnostics
  • Soil Management (application of Fertilizer / Pesticide / Herbicide)
  • Irrigation Management and scheduling
  • Variety selection recommendations
