We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Officer

Location: Agbor, Delta

Summary

  • The Sales Officer is required to work as part of the team and will be responsible for driving company’s sales and business growth by building productive and professional relationship with existing and prospective customers in the markets

Duties

  • Responsible for building a book of business and finding individuals or agents to purchase farm produce.
  • Sell goods such as animal feed, poultry, chickens, vegetables, seeds, fresh crops, pigs pesticides, and dairy products
  • Sell orders over the phone.
  • Negotiate prices and prepare reports.
  • Conduct business transactions.
  • Tell customer of estimated delivery schedule, service contracts, warranty, or other information pertaining to purchased products.
  • Create a list of sales leads.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, needs, and new prospects and individuals and organisations in need of the farm produce.

Requirements

  • Interested applicants should possess two or more years’ experience and a good track record in sales of Agriculture/ Farm produce.
  • Minimum quantification of an OND in Agriculture/Marketing/Sales.
  • Marketing qualification would be helpful, practical experience would be more relevant. Interested applicants must possess excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Candidate must be willing to live and work in Agbor, Delta State.
