Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) is the pioneer and leader of the petroleum industry in Nigeria. It is capable of producing an average of over one million barrels of oil equivalent per day. The companys operations are concentrated in the Niger Delta and adjoining shallow offshore areas where it operates in an oil mining lease area of around 30,000 square kilometres.

We are recruiting for the positions of:

Job Title: Principal Asset Integrity Engineer

Job ID: F34604
Location: Lagos , Nigeria

Responsibilities

  •     Operate and maintain asset integrity systems to ensure high uptime and safety in Shell Nigeria offshore assets.
  •     Act as operator of Pressure Equipment Integrity systems for SNEPCo operating assets.
  •     Implement strategies for Inspection activities for topside,marine,structural and subsea assets.
  •     Produce Inspection Reference plans for each system.
  •     Interface between functional disciplines and operations.
  •     Plan budgets and required contracts.


Accountabilities include:

  •     Custodian of Pipeline integrity management systems
  •     Devises maintenances scopes of work for repairs.
  •     Technical Authority for process Pressure Envelope Integrity Status.
  •     Drives data management and control for each asset class,plus analysis and remnant life or maintenance predictions.
  •     Focal point for inputs into annual MRP or ARP and asset Integrated Activity Plans.
  •     Focal point for maintaining scopes of work in SAP.
  •     Drives HSE aspects for inspection activities.
  •     Devise or utilise and supervise asset integrity systems to produce Inspection Reference Plans.
