We are currently in search of a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below:

Job Description
- Our client is currently in search of a Purchasing Manager for their operations in Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- The purchasing manager will be responsible for overseeing all purchases of raw materials in line with laid down company policies.
- Follow through in the implementation of the purchasing policy and identify reliable local and foreign vendors/suppliers.
- Purchase the right material at the most cost effective way.
- Handle quality control and material planning to prevent any down time based on material shortage.
- Maintain accurate data and information regarding purchases.
- The purchasing manager will also be responsible for developing sourcing strategies for different kinds of raw materials to meet up with set objectives of the organisation.
- Monitors and co-ordinate with suppliers and the relevant agencies on orders till they are received into stock.
Requirements/Qualifications
- B.Sc./HND in a relevant course.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in purchasing and procurement.
- Experience as a purchasing/procurement manager in a manufacturing (FMCG) establishment would be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of exportation of goods.
- Knowledge of processing NXP
- Supply chain background.
- Knowledge of Purchase Indenting.
- Professional Certification as a purchasing and supply chain professional.
