Sirdar Group - Our client, a leading multi-generational and diversified family business based in West Africa, is recruiting to fill the position of: 

Job Title: Non-executive Director

Location: Nigeria

Requirements
To be considered you must be based in West Africa and / or work extensively within countries such as Nigeria and Ghana.
Your experience and expertise to include:

  • Previous boardroom experience essential – ideally non-executive director experience
  • Understanding of family business member dynamics
  • Experience in R500 million and larger companies (ideally in leading large businesses with 2000+ employees in multiple geographies)
  • An in-depth, strategic understanding of Africa
  • Significant experience in strategic thought and direction setting
  • Should be the champion for board and governance experience and thus would have experience to support this.
