Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a leading Oil & Gas Group to recruit an Interface Manager for its Oil and Gas operations in Nigeria.

Job description

  • The Interface Manager will have the responsibility of ensuring that all interfaces between the EPC Contractor and other EPC Contractors, other associated contractors, owners of existing facilities, other ADNOC companies etc. are identified ,documented, and managed during the detailed engineering, fabrication, construction and commissioning.
  • He/she is to report to the Project Manager


Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this office shall include but is not limited to the following:

  •     The Interface Manager is responsible for overall follow up and management of all the interfaces of different work packages
  •     Provision of the Interface Data Items (IDI) data responsible and data receiver sheets giving correct descriptive actions and documents required
  •     Setting up and monitoring Interface Document Registers an abstract of the Master document register listing all documents involved in the interfaces of all interface groups
  •     Use of Web-based exchange room for issuing and receipt of documentation.
  •     Overall follow up and management of progress of all interface groups.
  •     Provision of monthly progress reports and status on all groups to clients and both weekly and monthly reports to the Company
  •     Organisation of the Interface groups to facilitate timely and orderly receipt and delivery of all required data of Interface registers and their maintenance
  •     Arrangement of kick-off meetings and follow monthly meetings.
  •     Liaison with Client representatives


Qualifications and Experience

  •     Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the Oil and Gas Sector
  •     Must have a strong culture of attention to detail
  •     Must have strong organisational skills
  •     Must be self driven with high level of initiative
  •     Must be an excellent team player
  •     Able to work under pressure
  •     Must have the ability to multitask
  •     Computer Literacy in and Microsoft Office tool
  •     Must have excellent communication skills
