Job Description:
Responsible for the training of persons in the department.
To provide quality leadership and responsibility for packaging, assembling of finished goods and timely delivering of goods to customers.
To assist in planning packaging schedules, liaising with production for the receipt of products/goods to be packed, assembles individual customers’ orders for dispatch.
Accountable for maintaining minimum, maximum and re-ordering level of all packaging materials.
Work effectively with operation team members to identify, set and attain professional and strategic goals.
Ensures team compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
Motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.

Skills
Relevant technical knowledge
Good computer and numerical skills
Knowledgeable regarding packaging, warehouse operations, movement and control of inventory, shipping and receiving and freight management.
Must be adept at problem solving, developing solutions to achieve desired result
Must have strong organisational and interpersonal skills
Required Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Logistics or any social science course
A Minimum of four years experience in manufacturing industry
