Fumigation / Cleaning Officer

Aaron's Pithy Resources is urgently recruiting a cleaning and fumigation officer for one of her clients. The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and upgrading pesticides in use.
  • Carry out daily field work relating to fumigations of all kind.
  • Carry out and supervise all activities of general cleanings.
  • Establish and implement pest control SOP’s
  • Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors
  • Clean commercial buildings by emptying trash cans, servicing restrooms and wiping down communal surfaces
  • Ensure outside walkways remain clear and free of debris
  • Notify building management of any repairs required
  • Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately
  • Responsible for preparing fumigation schedules
  • Enhancing health and safety precautions in the course of undertaking fumigation operations
  • Supervision and training of the staff in the section including the fumigation applicators
  • Any other duty allocated by immediate supervisor or management

    Qualification: B.Sc/HND/OND in chemistry/ microbiology or related field.

    Candidate must be:

    Excellent communication and writing skills.

    Profient in the use of Microsoft word and excel

    Ability to work any under pressure and without supervision.

    Self motivated and hard working.

    Excellent problem solving skills.
