Tenaris Nigeria - With the aim to expand the HSE team in Nigeria (Onne), Tenaris is looking for an HSE Analyst.
In close cooperation with other company areas, the person will be responsible for implementing the Tenaris HSE Management System, assuring compliance with Regulations in force and with customers requirements.
Job Title: HSE Analyst
Location: Onne, Rivers State, Nigeria
Main Responsibilities
- Liaises closely with the HSE team to define and provide a comprehensive and coherent application of the management system.
- Interacts with internal and/or external contacts with a higher level of autonomy.
- Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
- Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
- Participates in the development and maintenance of HSE procedures according to Corporate requirements. Prepares HSE corporate reports, analysis of statistics and trends of HSE indicators
- Participates in internal audit program and inspections
- Participates in the development and delivering of HSE training.
- Ensure proper use of Company IT tools (TSE, IDM, TMC, etc)
- Analyzes, interprets and recommends courses of action for more complex topics
Requirements:
- From 3 to 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas or manufacturing companies
- Reliable
- Team-player
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external resources in a multicultural context
- Experience in Risks Assessment
- Experience in Audit and Incident Investigation
- Fully conversant with the requirement of Nigeria.
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Formal Audit Qualification as a plus
- Good analytical/planning skills
- Computer literate
- Fluent English.
