Our client, a non-operating holding company of a leading financial services Group with commercial banking, investment banking capital market and insurance subsidiaries has recently concluded the re-organisation of its businesses in line with regulalory requirements.

As a result of this re-organisation, the Company is seeking to recruit self driven, experienced and motivated individuals to fill the below select positions within the Holding Company

Job Title: Investment Strategy & Management Manager

Job Responsibilities

•     Reporting to the Head, Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the investment strategy for tho Group.
  
•     Specific responsibilities include:
  •     Work with the lead, Finance to develop the Groups capital advocation and investment strategy and manage its investment portfolio Track, analyse arid provide updates to management on the Groups investments
    
  •     Monitor performance of various investment instruments leg. money market, capital market etc and advice on appropriate investment action/ decision
  •     Liaise with the CBN, NDIC external Auditors arid other relevant agencies on investment related matters as required
    
  •     Ensure the Groups investment activities are in line with relevant investment guidelines/ requirements

Key Requirements

•     A Bachelors degree in any discipline, an MBN Msc in finance will be an advantage
•     Good knowledge of corporate investment practices, including portfolio evaluation arid management
•      Professional qualifications/ certifications in a relevant finance/ investment discipline (eg.  CFA)
•     A minimum of 7 years relevant experience in finance and investment management
•     Good knowledge of the financial services industry
