Job Title: Content Writer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos (Onsite)
Responsibilities
- Doing extensive research on themes pertaining to the industry in order to create original material is a responsibility of a content writer.
- creating material for websites, blogs, articles, product descriptions, and social media.
- helping the marketing department create material for ad campaigns.
- Checking content for grammatical and consistency issues.
- editing and refining current information to make it easier to read.
- applying SEO best practices and conducting keyword research to boost website traffic for the business.
- Developing attention-grabbing headlines and body text to draw in the target audience.
- identifying the content gaps in the company's current offering and suggesting new material to fill them.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.
- Proven content writing or copywriting experience.
- Working knowledge of content management systems.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- A portfolio of published articles.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Effective communication skills.
