Hamilton Lloyd and Associates - Our client is a leading global brewery and bottling company spread across the world with recent presence in Nigeria. Due to internal expansion processes in their Nigerian office, they have decided to hire an Operations Manager.
Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Operation Manager will report to the General Manager
- The Operations Manager will develop, implement and manage business and financial plans for the Depot, Warehouse and Distribution operations to ensure an effective and efficient logistics system, while satisfying customer service needs, optimising all resources and eliminating waste.
- Planning and coordination between Plant and Warehouse deliveries
- Distribution is done to planned time schedules with required product mix.
- Company delivery vehicles are utilized/deployed and maintained to ensure optimal availability
- Regional logistic system is developed in the territory to support the company distribution
- Planning requirements are implemented to ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time
- Monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews /reporting
- Objectives are set and communicated to the involved factors (Warehouse, Distribution and Depot supervisors)
- Cost effective distribution and delivery execution
- Management of the Warehouse and Distribution and application of control principles and measures

Qualification
- B. Degree in a commercial field or Logistics.
- 5 years management experience ideally in FMCG or beer industry in a Logistics role.
- Knowledge of the FMCG sector.
