Fadac Resources and Services Limited - Our client, a High-End luxury construction company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quality Control Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain the project submittal log and all other project-specific quality control reports
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other relevant parties such as architects and engineers
  • Ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget guidelines
  • Ensuring that project managers are adequately trained and have the necessary resources to complete their tasks
  • Reviewing blueprints, sketches, and other plans for compliance with applicable building codes
  • Making sure that all work performed meets industry standards for quality
  • Reviewing bids from contractors to determine which ones will be awarded contracts
  • Managing a team of construction inspectors, ensuring that they are performing their jobs effectively
  • Reviewing contractor bids for accuracy and adherence to building codes and specifications
  • Inspecting work sites to ensure that projects are being performed according to plans.

Job Requirements

  • B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of a wide range of construction materials, methods, and techniques
  • Proven experience as a quality manager for at least 5-6 years.
  • Outstanding communication skills, proficient in MS Office, ERP system
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
  • Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage
