Job Title: HSE Analyst (Ref:WTSA02527)
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities:
- The person will be responsible for implementing the Company HSE Management System and assuring compliance with Regulations
- Liaises closely with the HSE team to define and provide a comprehensive and coherent application of the management system.
- Complies with company policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
- Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
- Participates in the development and maintenance of HSE procedures according to Corporate requirements.
- Prepares HSE corporate reports, analysis of statistics and trends of HSE indicators
- Participates in internal audit program and inspections
- Analyzes, interprets and recommends courses of action for more complex topics
- Interacts with internal and/or external contacts with a higher level of autonomy.
- Participates in the development and delivering of HSE training.
- Ensure proper use of Company IT tools (TSE, IDM, TMC, etc)
Qualification:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent Technical Discipline.
- For this position, preference will be given to Nigerian nationals only.
- Minimum of 7 years experience with at least 3 years in a similar position.
- Training and Courses in Health, Safety and Environment are required.
