Arbico Plc is a full service building and civil engineering contracting company established in 1958 and quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange since 1978. Arbico has become one of the foremost building construction companies in Nigeria with presence across the geopolitical zones of the country.

Arbico Plc is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: Lagos

Requirements

  •     Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management.
  •     Extensive technical knowledge of engineering applications.
  •     Extensive practical site experience.
  •     A post graduate degree (e.g. MSC) from a reputable university will be an added advantage.
  •     Membership of COREN, NIA, NIB or any professional body in Engineering


Job Description / Responsibilities

  •     Assist Project Manager in planning and execution of project plans at site.
  •     Prepare and monitor work schedules, project costing, procurement, and coordination with all parties involved to ensure work progress smoothly and completed within target time and budget.
  •     Applicant should be conversant with the use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft project.
  •      Liaising with all parties involved in the project including local authorities, consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
  •     Attend site meetings and inspections, report regularly on progress and monitor schedule.
