The responsiblities of Inspector (Mechanical) include but are not limited to the following,

Provides inspection services for all static equipment with respect to equipment integrity, making sure that all repair work and modifications are done according to the necessary codes and specifications.
This includes in-service, and pre-commissioning inspection of pressure vessels, tanks and piping.
Witness and sign off of pressure tests on pressure vessels and piping.
Conduct and witness NDE examinations.
Compile inspection reports for all inspections done.
Issue recommendation for repairs and control repairs.
Compile repair procedures and ITPs for repair work.
Witness and sign-off hold points on Contractors’ work.
Maintains log of equipment history.
Evaluation of equipment integrity and making recommendations for repairs required.
Witness and certify welders and review welding procedures.
Maintains Risk Based Inspection database.
Work with Plant Staff and Regulatory Agencies to approve and/or adopt alternate inspection and monitoring techniques/requirements.
Requirements Inspector – Mechanical
Inspector will have a Mechanical Engineering degree
Should have minimum 3 – 5 years industry experience.
API-510 and 570 certifications a plus.
Experience with taking thickness of wall readings, Visions data entry, NDE examinations, SERIP programs, Positive Material Identification (PMI) determination a plus.
Expect that individual would obtain over the initial 18 months – AWS-CWI certification and be working on EN-473 or ASNT-TC-1A Level II in Radiographic film interpretation, Ultrasonic Inspection (UT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MT), Dye Penetrate Inspection (PT) and Visual Inspection (VT)
Must have good safety record

Experience with Bentley Nevada S1 and Emerson CSI Vibration Analysis Systems is a strong plus.

The responsibilities of Construction Site Representative position include but are not limited to the following:

Carry out all construction and fabrication supervision / monitoring activities required for the successful delivery of the Contracts assigned.
Comply with Company procedures and reporting requirements.
Implement Company HSE policies and Contract HSE requirement.
Participate in Job Hazard Analyses and Attend safety toolbox meetings on a regular basis with contractors’ work teams.
Assist in constructability reviews and the planning and scheduling of construction jobs.
Close Liaison with contractors and their sub-contractors, ensuring all permits to work are in place.
Monitor the overall progress of the contractors against schedule, providing reporting on same to line management, highlighting the potential for slippage and propose remedial actions and signing contractor daily reports.
Ensure Projects are completed and handed over on schedule.
Review Contractor’s quality plan with Company appointed 3rd party inspector, ensure compliance with the agreed quality plan
Prepare project close out and “lessons learnt” reports.
Implement Company HSE Plans, conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance
Review construction contractors’ work procedures; assess contractors’ personnel and equipment for suitability for the work.
Liaise with others and supervise materials identification and co-ordination of supply to work sites, ensure adequate inspection and testing is carried out, ensure as-built drawings are produced by contractors where they are contractually obliged to prepare same
Ensure Contractors have viable schedules for their work, recognizing interfaces with other ongoing COMPANY activities.
Ensure that contractors maintain adequate records for all inspection and testing carried out.
Participate, with contractors’ staff and COMPANY Operations staff, in all pre- commissioning activities.
Control COMPANY supplied material issues to contractors, ensuring that any surplus is accounted for.
Maintain adequate records relating to events surrounding the work, which may give rise to contractors claiming for a cost increase against contract. Contribute to project close out reports as applicable
Requirements Offshore Construction Site Representative
Construction Site Representative will have extensive experience in offshore facilities construction work and offshore installation of platforms and pipeline laying as well as working on facilities expansions where simultaneous production and construction operations is required.
A good understanding of the relevant codes and standards for welding work and testing requirements for same is a prerequisite.
A reasonable understanding of E & I construction and testing works.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential, for dealing with a broad spectrum of cultural and organisational styles, as well as being able to fit in as a team player.
Fit and fully mobile, so as to maintain the supervision at the various locations where activities related to the work will be carried out.
A self starter, able to plan and work his own way forwards at locations remote from COMPANY project engineering and engineering management staff.
Proven experience of supervising and coordinating the activities of a team of a multi-discipline construction supervision team.
Good communication and team building skills at all levels – able to lead and gain the respect of contractor and 3rd parties.

The responsibilities of Senior Pipeline Engineer position include but are not limited to the following:

To act as a focal point/technical authority for pipeline engineering questions throughout the engineering design, construction and installation phases of Companys pipeline projects, most of which are offshore.
To provide pipeline engineering input to other disciplines to assure that design outputs are consistent.
To act as Company authority for the review of the pipeline aspects of Design Bases, design drawings, specifications, installation procedures, etc.
To act as required as the Company representative (pipelines) to ensure that design work by contractors meets Company standards and relevant industry codes
To monitor the performance of design contractors and suggest remedial actions to avoid design deficiencies and installation delays.
To assist Company resident and/or project engineers with the pipeline engineering aspects of Facilities design.
To assist construction and commissioning teams with field questions encountered during installation (e.g. as related to pipe laying, risers, tie-ins, hydrotesting, welding, etc.)
To initiate and coordinate tasks needed for project execution including surveys, permitting or government reviews, material specification, installation procedures, testing, etc.
To participate in HAZOPs and other key design reviews.
To assist in the development Nigerian pipeline engineers.
Key Performance Indicators/ Performance Goals:

Zero LTIs
On time delivery of work-scope
Maintain up to date and accurate data relating to seabed surveys, pipeline routings, etc.
Requirements Pipeline Engineer
Minimum twenty (20) years relevant experience with an oil industry design and fabrication contractor.
Must have worked as a pipeline engineer/senior pipeline engineer for an Operator, and have been involved in both onshore and offshore projects.
Must be used to working in a multi-discipline environment
Must have worked in an expatriate situation for at least five (5) years.
Good understanding of project management controls and procedures.
Ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of consistency and accuracy.
Solid working knowledge of oil and gas industry pipeline engineering codes and standards with emphasis on API standards
Have thorough knowledge of the pipelining aspects of the design of onshore and offshore oil production facilities
Have the ability to utilise common software for analysis of pipeline design, installation and operating issues.
To provide input to Front End/Conceptual Engineering studies with respect to pipeline design, installation and operating issues.
Provide input to Integrity Management and Planned Maintenance planning
To be the custodian of the company database for pipeline data as it pertains to company assets
Sound understanding of HSES management systems and the application thereof, particularly with respect to design integrity and safety.
Ability to manage interfaces both internally and externally with contractors
Apt reporting skills with the ability to write well structured and easily understood reports
Able to prepare and deliver effectively presentations for information dissemination both internally to management and externally to 3rd parties
Fluent spoken and written English.
Strong interpersonal skills, able to deal with a broad spectrum of cultural and organisational styles
Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Project, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint).
Good communication and team building skills – well able to lead and gain respect both internally and externally with 3rd parties.
