A Reputable Company is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:
Job Title: Tractor Operator
Location: Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Performs large-scale mowing of the assigned work areas.
- Reports any abnormalities in trees, shrubs, and grass.
- Performs basic maintenance and cleaning of all tractors and attachments.
- Reports any repairs/maintenance needed for tractors.
- Follows all safety procedures.
- Attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools.
- Operating or tending equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment.
- Observing and listening to machinery operations to detect equipment malfunctions.
- Driving and carrying out regular maintenance and repairs of tractors and other farm implements.
- Performing inspections of tractors and attachments like graders, rollers, and plows, and ensuring they are well-lubricated.
- Using tractors to transport materials and pull or push agricultural equipment.
Skills & Requirements
- 1-2 years of tractor experience, preferably grounds-related.
- Prior experience with individuals with differing abilities and/or some supervisory experience desired.
- One or two years general landscape experience with some familiarity with pesticides is desirable.
- Must have a clean driving record.
