We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Support Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • The IT Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructures, aiding us to deliver life-changing products/services to our clients.

Accountabilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ranging from basic to complex, in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and networks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware, software licenses, and equipment.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, upgrades, and system migrations.
  • Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, troubleshooting guidelines, and user manuals.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance to guarantee optimum performance and security.
  • Handle online Price updates for the organization and manage online platforms.
  • End User training on equipment and software usage.
  • ERP application configuration, installation, administration, user and group account management as well as application reports modification to suit changing business information requirement.
  • Compile and submit IT weekly reports and updates for the unit’s transaction date closure, end-users, network issues, offsite database backup and anti-virus updates as well as ensuring supporting documentation and records are sufficient to meet and comply with company’s policies and regulatory needs.
  • Perform other duties as may be required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in ICT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2-3 years proven experience as an IT Officer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows etc.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide clear technical instructions.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering quality support.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus. Experience in managing Oodo ERP is an advantage.
