Position Description

Field supervision of Slickline and Electric Line operations which needs a good all round knowledge of Slick-Line Units and Down-Hole equipment that includes “Baker” “Camco” and “Halliburton” Nipples, SSD, GLV and Mandrels, SCSSSV, SCSSV, Wireline Fishing Equipment and all related Wireline Surface Lubricator and BOP Rig-Up for both Onshore and Offshore Addax Well Locations.
Sound knowledge of Coil Tubing operations nitrogen lift and snubbing operations.
Ensure that all Contractors Wireline Equipment and Down-Hole Operations are carried out in compliance with Addax Safety Management System.
Liaise with various contracting companies to ensure an efficient cost implementations of well services plan.
Ensure All Job Work Permits and related documentation for Equipment Certification are in order prior to Job commencement.
To record all Wireline activities and to ensure that all contractors record and make daily “On Job” reports to allow well files to be kept up to date.
To review the existing Well Service Procedures and report any problems encountered with contractors equipment to the General Manager Production.
Ensure full adherence to company’s HSE polices, procedures and standard.
Position Requirements
A BSc or its equivalent in Engineering discipline and General College Education with Wireline 1 and 2 courses.
Minimum of 15 years experience with at least 10 years in Well Service Slick Line Operations.
To Ensure all “On Job” work is carried out correctly and Job Programs are followed to avoid lost production whenever possible
Providing support to the field operations Supervisors : onshore and offshore prior to any Down-Hole Wireline Job commencement.
Good written and spoken English and Computer Literate.
