We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Physical and Health Education Teacher

Location: Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Develop and implement dynamic and inclusive physical education lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives.
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
  • Teach a variety of physical activities and sports, including but not limited to team sports, individual sports, fitness training, and recreational games.
  • Educate students on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including topics such as nutrition, personal hygiene, mental health, and injury prevention.
  • Conduct physical fitness assessments and track student progress to monitor individual growth and development.
  • Provide guidance and support to students in setting personal fitness goals and implementing strategies to achieve them.
  • Demonstrate and promote proper techniques, safety procedures, and ethical behavior during physical activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to organize and supervise school-wide sports events, intramural activities, and inter-school competitions.
  • Stay updated with the latest research, trends, and best practices in physical and health education, integrating innovative teaching methodologies and technologies into instruction.
