Job Title: Graphic Designer

Location: Abuja

Job Description

  • We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy, sustainability, and a keen eye for aesthetic design and layout composition.
  • You will collaborate with various teams to produce high-quality graphics for both print and digital campaigns, including but not limited to branding, marketing materials, website design, social media graphics, and internal communications.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing and product team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product visuals and experience.
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Create and update digital and print materials such as brochures, banners, infographics, presentations, newsletters, and logos.
  • Design and produce engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Editing and producing video content for a range of platforms.
  • Ensuring brand guidelines and standards are consistent throughout all of our graphics.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field, or acceptable qualifications in Design
  • Proven graphic designing experience with a strong portfolio showcasing versatility in print and digital media.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Experience with photo editing.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and graphic design trends.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Up-to-date with the latest graphic trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Experience in the renewable energy industry is a plus.

Required Skills:

  • Graphic Design: You must have an eye for aesthetics and be able to produce visually appealing designs.
  • Video Editing: Experience in video editing is required, you should be comfortable working with editing software to create high-quality video content.
  • Photo Editing: You should be adept at photo editing to enhance, retouch, and manipulate photographs.
  • Creativity: We're looking for someone who can think outside the box to create impactful graphics.
  • Time Management: You should be able to effectively manage your time to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Communication: You'll need to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders about design ideas and solutions.
  • Knowledge of Renewable Energy: Understanding of the renewable energy industry will be beneficial.
