Gonzaga Jesuit College is a Catholic co-educational boarding secondary school run by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). It is open to Christians, non-Christians, and non-Catholics.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Agricultural Science Teacher

Location: Okija, Anambra

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans in agricultural science.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Evaluate and assess students' progress regularly.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to students interested in agricultural projects.
  • Organize and participate in extracurricular agricultural activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the agricultural science curriculum.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in agricultural science.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Science or a related field.
  • 3 years work experience.
  • Relevant teaching certification is compulsory (B.Ed, PGDE, NCE)
  • Proven experience in teaching agricultural science.
  • Passion for agriculture and a commitment to student success.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Enthusiastic about teaching agricultural science and positively impacting young minds.
